At CCCJ, you’ll find a casual environment with friendly people, authentic worship, and Bible-based preaching.  We’re an imperfect group of people doing our best to pursue a perfect God.  Everything we do is designed to help us in our vision to glorify God by making disciples who make disciples!

In our Sunday morning worship, you’ll see people in jeans and t-shirts sitting next to people in suits, so come in whatever makes you comfortable.  Our two worship experiences have the same message but are different in their worship styles.  We call our first service (8:00 am) Traditional Worship with predominantly hymns and call our second service (10:45 am) Modern Worship with mostly newer music.

Both of our experiences have a moment where we pause to take communion and to give an offering.  We take communion to remember the body and blood of Jesus, as He died on the cross, was buried in the tomb, and was resurrected on the third day.  We give an offering because God is our provider and we choose to return a portion of our blessing to the church to further the growth of the Kingdom in Carl Junction and around the world.

We would love for you to join one of our Sunday School classes at 9:30 am!  You can find a description of classes here.

We have Children’s Ministry programming throughout the morning, with a nursery during all gatherings and Kindergarten-5th Grade programs during our 10:45 am worship time.  You can discover more of our Children’s Ministry information here.

Our Student Ministry meets during our Sunday School time and has additional gatherings throughout the week.  You can find more information on our Student Ministry here.

We work hard to create environments that reflect our three commitments:

We COME to the Father, as Jesus called us to.  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”  (Matthew 11:28)

We THRIVE together, as the writer of Hebrews encouraged us to.  “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…but encouraging one another…”  (Hebrews 10:25)

We GO to the world, as Jesus commanded us to.  “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”  (Matthew 28:19)
